Hi, I’m Aparna 👋
I’ve been teaching yoga since 2013. I completed my yoga teacher training at a wonderful studio in Cary, NC over 13 years ago. Since then, I’ve taught over 1600 hours of Hatha and Hatha vinyasa yoga. Recently, I completed my RYT-500 certification gave me deep training in the roots of yoga.
In my early days, when I started teaching, I quickly realized most big studios were all about workouts and power flows.
They didn't feel like yoga to me. Yoga is meant to help us connect with ourselves. It’s meant to bring steadiness, ease, awareness, and presence. That’s what I wanted to teach. I was fortunate to have taught at community-focused yoga studios.
Recently, I opened my own small yoga studio, Triangle Shala in Morrisville, NC, where my teachers and I share authentic, accessible yoga rooted in tradition.
Over the years, my students have consistently told me how my sequences help them feel balanced, refreshed, and centered. Now, I feel called to share everything I’ve learned with new yoga teachers like you — so you can teach with confidence, stay true to yoga’s heart, and create classes your students love.
